lucy isn't what you'd expect a vampire to be, really. she is a bright natured girl who likes to look on the bright side of things. she is friendly to most people, though somewhat shy around people she has never met before. the girl has no pokerface, and her emotions can be read almost all the time. being clumsy and easily embarrassed, her cheeks are often reddened and her eyes wide.
she tries to laugh it off though, and pursues her happy go lucky path. her parents shake their head at her antics, both of them not exactly understanding what motive is behind them. lucy doesn't mind, she just goes about her day doing what she does best- tripping and smiling.

-----history:
lucy was born as the middle child of the smith family sixteen years ago. she had an elder brother at the time, carson, who always picked on her. her mother and father, angela and joseph, are both exemplar vampires, with their control on their bat familiars precise and their sneaking skills pristine. they were turned as kids, and angela was the one to turn her children immediately after birth. carson takes after them, a grand vampire in the scheme of things. when lucy was three years old her little sister, quinn, was born. quinn happens to be the best vampire of the family, and always has to help lucy clean up after herself, being as lucy was somewhat of a failure as a vampire from the start.
when lucy started hogwarts, three years ahead of quinn, she had a great deal of trouble hiding her messes, though somehow she managed. when she was in her fourth year, quinn finally joined her at hogwarts, helping her with spells and her own skills to hide the evidence. quinn and lucy are close, despite the three year difference. quinn describes lucy as 'weak' and though lucy protests, she cannot provide a stable argument otherwise. now in her sixth year, she is finding it increasingly difficult to keep her secret.
OUT OF CHARACTER!
-----sampleroleplay:
someone's life could begin many times. this was something that cass had recently recorded in her book of thoughts. it was like a diary, but not really. she didn't record personal events, only thoughts. the words on the page were as obscure as she was about her own life. no one would truly know who she was, just that she thought a lot. her footsteps too her far, and she blinked, peering at a designer watch on her wrist. the stars shone above, and she realized just how long she had been out, and how late it was. her phone was still in her pocket, no one had called. her mom was either not home, or too tired to search. a slight grimace masking her face for a moment, cass rolled her eyes. more than likely, her mom just wasn't home. and there was no way her sister had decided to return, or her dad had come bac. it had been years- the hope for them was gone. like a robot, cass took this realization in without a single emotion burning in her chest. she had learned to ignore things like that, sometimes emotions only tied you down.
she had been an insomniac for awhile. stress at home caused this, and tests and whatnot. and she had just moved. well, it wasn't a big move. she was still in the same town, but she was taken home from school for awhile to help with the ordeal. she'd be returning in a little while, now that the move was almost complete. some nights, she stayed up all night just listening to her favorite talk show on a radio station that she liked. the talk show gave her peace of mind, something that she found wasn't really common anymore. blinking, a yelp made her look up. her eyes widened for a moment when she saw a guy and a broken down car in front of her. she could almost swear the guy went to her school, but it was dark. she couldn't be sure. she felt surprised, and if she were a real girl she might've yelped too. but she stood in a stoic manner, blinking slowly as she came to a halt and peered up at the guy. he was talking, actually he was talking quite a lot. she smirked to herself- a babbler. cass was once a babbler. he was talking about his car. her gaze shifted over to the machine itself, and she couldn't help but allow the edges of her lips to curve upward. it was a classic grease car.
her dad was once an auto repair guy. this was why she hated the smell of gasoline. sometimes he'd take her to work with him, and though she tried to forget a lot about those days, there were a few strictly informational memories that sprang to mind. cass wasn't exactly a genius, but she had a good memory. sometimes she wished she didn't. she slid her gaze back to the guy, eli was his name. cass was silent for a moment, before she slumped and nodded toward the car. "well i know a bit. what's wrong with it?" she asked, her voice kind of rough from lack of use. but then, her voice was rough anyway. it was sort of girly, but gravelly as well. it almost sounded like she had a constant sore throat, to be honest. hands in her pockets, cass blew out a breath, stirring her sidebangs and letting them fly out of her face. "i'm cass."

This klutzy character is played by hazie. Six years have passed since I began this fun. However, I have been living for one hundred years and have been known as that airheaded type of female. Enough about me, I also play as no one else. Never steal my world away from me or I will be forced to get luna lovegood to jinx you!
