------- Savor the sorrow to soften the pain ------- . sip on The southern rain . ------- As I do, I don't look don't touch don't do anything ------- . But hope that there is a you . Music blared from all corners of allison's dorm room as she danced around in it. She couldn't figure out why she was so energetic this morning, but she was. Aly had woken up a bit late that morning, her dorm mates leaving without even telling her, by now they were probably all at Breakfast. The Seventeen year old watched her reflection carefully as she put her eye liner on in the mirror. She didn't wear make-up all that often, but today was just a good day to do so. Angel took her hair down from the pony tail it was in and shook her hair out letting the red locks fall around her shoulders. She glanced at her out fit for a moment it was actually kind of a relief not to wear her uniform today, she wasn't in the mood to wear a skirt. She wore a comfortable pair of faded jeans and a white tank top. She ran a hand hand down the side of her jeans and slipped into a pair of black Roxy trainers. Aly picked her wand up from the counter and flicked it, the music ending promptly, sending the room into silence. She pocketed her wand and left the room all together. Thoughts of breakfast crossed her mind, but she really wasn't all that hungry. The seventeen year old made her way out of the entrance hall toward the black lake. The moment the doors opened she felt the cold air hit her face and she smiled. She walked further outside near the lake and over to her favorite tree. She ran a hand over the tree for a moment, before sitting down facing the Lake. She watched as the sun glittered against the Lake, making it glitter and she smiled. She loved coming down to the Lake on Saturday mornings, It always made her feel a bit at ease for the day ahead. ____________________________________________Tagged: OPEN. Outfit: Pretty. Vincent had just got off the phone with his family in Braishfield when he stopped his friend Allison, although he almost didn't recognize her with make-up on. It didn't suit her, she looked far better naturally. Vincent was dressed in his normal clothes as he walked toward the black lake. His clothes consisted of an attractive green shirt and tight white jeans. Even though his uniform was green he couldn't get enough of the colour, it looked good on him. The breeze shivered the corners of his mouth, but it was cool enough to freeze away the warmth of the Great Hall. His round eyes were like iron as the lake reflected in his pupils. Ruffling his silky hair until curls started to appear, he carefully crafted his walk so that his arms weren't hiding the deep tan he had on his chest. With his large hand he tapped her on the shoulder.
The wandering wind began to howl, his skin quivered slightly. It drained him like a ghost, he didn't wander the grounds often on a cold day. In five years time he could see himself partying it up though, he might as well enjoy the tranquil life while he had it. The nature of his future career was going to be anything but quiet or peaceful. He'd often need a knee-reversal hex just to stand a chance against the Quidditch teams they'd be facing. Not that he'd ever do that of course. Several Slytherins came from the castle at that moment, sniggering and sneering as they spotted the red-haired Weasley. "Just ignore them" he assured her with a slight smile. The smile disappeared when he noticed one of them pulling out their wand.
Like a reflex Vincent pulled out his, and as he heard their lips utter a hex of some kind Vincent got there first with "Salvio Hexia!" upon his words there was no change. Then the Slytherins tried their spells, each and every one bouncing off them like a mirrored wall. With a cocky smile he turned away from them, "your welcome" he grinned, indicating that they take a walk.

------- Savor the sorrow to soften the pain ------- . sip on The southern rain . ------- As I do, I don't look don't touch don't do anything ------- . But hope that there is a you . Allison ran a hand through her red hair for a moment, as the wind picked up a bit and made her shiver as she sat against the tree. Only a moment after that she was tapped on the shoulder and her eyes shot open to look up at the person intruding on her quiet time. She was about to tell them to evaporate when she saw it was Vincent and gave him a small smile. " Well now isn't this a surprise." Aly muttered to herself as she pulled herself up from the ground. She was just about to greet him when she saw him starring past her at the open doors while a group of Slytherins filed out. Aly recognized a few of them, but didn't say anything. Just ignore them. She herd Vincent say to her and she nodded tucking a red lock of hair behind her ear and gave him a smile. Her and Vince used to be practically best friends when they were little then they started Hogwarts and everything was different. She was a Gryffindor, he was Slytherin and things just kind of fizzled out after that, but she did miss having him around, he was fun, when he wasn't a jerk that is. When Aly looked away from him back at the Slytherins she noticed they were starring at the two of them and then one whipped out his wand. " Crap." Aly muttered to herself for a moment and pulled her own wand from her back pocket, but before she could say anything, Vincent was right there cursing the guys. Aly watched as they fled before turning her attention to Vince. "your welcome" He told her and indicated they take a walk. The seventeen year old gave him a smile and shook her head before walking a few step. " Well thank you, I think I could have managed, but thank you." She said giving him a smile a short hug for a moment. The red head gave him another smile and gave him a questionable look. " So what you're my night a shinning armor now? She asked him jokingly. ____________________________________________Tagged: OPEN. Outfit: Pretty. My mood: BORED Aly's Mood: AT PEACECredit: I did it; please No steal.

Vincent offered his hand as she attempted to stand from the ground, it was only gentlemanly to do that. It was a share they grew apart as best friends, they used to be so close. Still, he would always recieve her hugs and her smiles willingly. For a little atmosphere, he kept his wand out and pointed at a few floating bits of snakeweed resting on the lake. He called "Avifors" and watched the weeds open themselves up and spread their leaves into eloquent wings. Soon after, several flocks of birds spawned from them. The breeze he got from the birds gliding over him made him feel slightly warmer inside. Besides, it was a pretty sight, and women liked pretty sights.
Dodie Selwyn still followed them, a Slytherin girl, but they both knew that was because she had a huge crush on Vincent and had taken a beautification potion in order to lure him. It was common knowledge around Hogwarts, the girl wasn't exactly subtle. He didn't care, but he wished sometimes he'd be left alone. Whether it was a group of Slytherins or a group of Daily Prophet photographers, he wished they would leave him alone. He walked along the grounds with Allison, not caring how unpopular the Weasley family was with Slytherins. He even digged through his pocket, through a basket equivalent of sweets, and pulled out a peppermint toad.
"Want one?" he asked, popping one into his mouth.

But hope that there is a you . allison took the hand he offered her and stood from the ground brushing a few strands of grass off of her jeans. She looked at at Vince and gave him a smile in thanks for a moment. The sun shown down on the two of them and Aly placed her wand back into her pocket as the two of them walked together, not failing to notice the annoying girl trying to trail behind them. Aly couldn't help but role her eyes at that for a moment, their was liking someone and then their was stalking, and she wasn't really comfortable with the annoying girl stalking Vince. Allison ran a hand through her red hair as they walked and slid her thumbs into the pockets of her jeans. When Vince offered her a peppermint frog, she shook her head no. "Um... no I think I'm good." She told him with a smile running her fingers through her hair once more. ____________________________________________Tagged: OPEN. Outfit: Pretty. Vincent kept hold of her hand until she retained balance, though he had to admit he was slightly disappointed when she didn't take the frog, it was a peace-maker for him. Letting her know he was still her friend, but he decided not to dwell on it. He was still optimistic about their friendship, so much so that he barely noticed when his stalker robbed a peppermint frog from his hand gratefully. She thanked him for it as if he had offered it, and Vincent knew that it was time for some privacy now. His lips puckered and shifted to the right as he screeched out a loud whistle. The blue birds he summoned earlier charged for her, spinning scantily in the air like throwing axes. They had assassinating danger in their eyes and as she ran away scared Vincent realized he was probably more Slytherin than he let on. Especially since he was mildly tempted to stop her running with the incacerata spell. He clearly had a lot of deep-rooted anger toward the majority of students who saw him through blood rather than eyes.
"It's probably time I started a rumour I was gay. Then they'd leave me alone" he joked, smiling with relief that they were finally alone to enjoy each others company. The only thing that would make it better was if they could talk over boiled potato truffles and a double expresso. She was similar to him in almost every way, practically golden. He was personally conscious he had grown more pale since they last hung out, having only tanned once in the duration on his time at Hogwarts. "Hey, I bet you didn't know I had a band? It's just me and Murph at the moment but i think we're pretty good. I sing, play guitar, write the songs and he plays the drums" he decided to go with hobbies as a topic. He didn't want to feel like a wage slave when he worked, and it was one of his dreams to be a musician.
Occasionally when he and Allison ran into each other he had been on his way to practice, but he didn't think he'd ever told her about his work. More than he'd like to admit he always wondered whether he talked to her enough, and whether she'd found a new best friend that was better than him. After all, when you don't talk, you lose that friendship that you had. Finding someone new was only natural. He had a lot of friends that were girls, though most of them were exes, so he couldn't blame her.
