“Josh, what do you see in David’s tea leaves?”
Upon receiving the student’s answer she nodded her head. “very good. By next class I want each of you to have a cup of tea at one of your meals and make a note of what you see in your cup. Bonus points for making an attempt at analyzing. Class dismissed.” She watched with amusements as the students immediately stood up and bolted out of the room. Cassandra couldn’t help but laugh as she waved her wand to clean up the tea cups then waved it again to put them away. It was no secret that the majority of her students did not really want to be in Divination- there were only a handful that truly seemed to want to be there, but she taught each of them the same whether they wanted to be there or not.
Once the classroom was cleaned up Cassandra considered going into her office for a bit, but upon looking out the window, the castle grounds called to her. It was a beautiful Spring day and there was no point in being stuck inside. She pulled a light sweater on over her robes but left it unbuttoned. Leaving the classroom she pulled the door behind her then headed down through the castle to the entrance hall where the door to the outside was located.
Upon reaching the door Cassandra pushed the heavy door and slipped through onto the grounds. Not really having anywhere to go in particular she simply started walking along the various pathways. She nodded her head and gave the occasional comment to students as they passed her. Her wanderings took her to a pathway that had benches every so often and she settled herself down onto one of the benches. She leant back slightly on the bench and tilted her head up so she could see the clouds floating by. Although she was never a really good cloud reader it was nice to simply watch them float by and know that what seemed like ordinary clouds to someone could mean something else entirely.
