It was another gorgeous day at Hogwarts, and Mike couldn't help but escape the four boring walls of the empty rooms of Hogwarts and go down to Hogsmeade for something different today. It was getting boring, and seeing the faces of people starring at him, whispering, it really wasn't helping. So he lost his home, grandfather, and friend all in the same year, so what, right? Bad things happened to good people, that's what his mother always told him. It all started with his father, and because of those events, everything just was just getting worse for him in the present.
Mike wondered around Hogsmeade, wondering where he should go, what he should do, who he will meet. He looked around at the rest of the students from school in their little groups, running around all over the place. Mike sighed and looked over to see HoneyDukes Sweet Shop and decided that's where he was going to go. He just needed to eat lots of sugary sweets to take his mind off all the things going on. One thing he missed the most was Ryan, god he really missed him, he shouldn't ever have avoided him but he just wasn't him to be safe.
Mike walked in the store and looked around, so many tasty treats to pick from and mike had plenty of cash on him to pay for whatever he felt like getting. He was favoring the chocolate frogs today, chocolate was the best way to go. He went over and picked up a few, but what else should he get? That's what he wondered, maybe he could find somebody to help him. He got a paper bag and started loading it up with all the sugary sweets that could drown his sorrows away.

Madison ran a hand through her dark hair for a moment as she started down the path to Hogsmeade a bit disappointed she hadn't gotten her little sister to join her. She was looking forward to spending time with the girl, since most of her time was spent with her friends doing things her sister should never really see her do, or with Ryan complaining about school, or Mike or teasing her. It was actually kind of funny how the two boys complained about not being with the other to her and took up most of her time, when they could just be together, taking up most of each others. Madison smiled at her thoughts and shook her head. She would probably jump for joy if one of them finally decided to man up and talk to the other she she could not be in the middle of it, but then again what is a twin and a best friend for if not to complain too.
The seventeen year old smiled to herself and waved to a few people trying to get her to join them and shook her head. She was better on her own for the day anyway, plus Honey Dukes was calling her name. Happiness practically radiated off of the girl all the time and she knew that. Madison loved making people smile and helping anyone else no matter what it was, although she did have her own method of dealing with her own problems. She walked for a bit more her eyes scanning through the shop windows she passed and finally reached her destination. The girl stepped into the shop and looked at Candy, candy and More candy. She was about to grab a bag and start her assault on the shops candy supply like always when her eyes landed on a very sad Michael Lane.
Madison frowned for a moment as she looked at him, but she was sure as all hell he didn't need a concerned friend asking him if he was ok. She could defiantly see he wasn't ok, she herd some of the things and whispers people said about him at school when they thought no one was listening and a few time yelled at a few people about how it wasn't their business to talk about it. She knew Mike enough to know he wasn't a fan of pity so she tried not to give him any when she was around him, it didn't help and it didn't make him feel better. Madison Practically bounced over to him a smile on her face and covered his eyes. "Guess who, and I swear you say Aly I'll castrate you." She said jokingly, but completely serious at the same time.

Mind racing, head spinning, life going nowhere anymore. Not really sure what to do with his life anymore, Mike decided to just forget about his problems as best as he could and drown it all out with the sugar that he was going to feed himself until he most likely got fat enough until he couldn't move or go anywhere. Of course that wasn't the future he wanted for himself, but what else was he suppose to do? Maybe he could graduate to become a ministry employee, like that wasn't boring enough, maybe he could eve be an aura, he could picture himself putting Death Eaters away.
Mike was rummaging through the isles of candy, just minding his own business. He had just came across the blood favored lollipops when all of a sudden somebody came out from behind him and covered his eyes. He wondered who it could have been as he heard a familiar female voice say "Guess who, and I swear you say Aly I'll castrate you." Mike smirked, there were only so many girls that would cover his eyes, and even fewer that would say she would threaten to castrate him. It had to be Madison Sullivan, especially since it obviously wasn't Allison Weasley. "Could this be Maddie!?" He asked in a hightned tone as he took her hands off his face and turned to her.
Mike turned around and smiled at her "I knew it!" He said with a snicker and hugged her. Madison and Mike went way back to their first year. Mike heard about her twin brother Ryan, but he never actually met him since he was in Ravenclaw, but it wasn't until Christmas that he did meet him. Mike fell in love with Madison's twin the first time he saw him, he didn't even know that was her brother till after he met him. Mike explained to Madison why it was the best to stay away from Ryan, he did love him and didn't want to stay away from him, but with Death Eaters after him now, he couldn't risk something happening to him.

Madison was always a fairly happy person despite a few off days she had, but she was always wiling to help someone who could use it, weather it was with homework, or brightening someones day, and Mike looked like he could use a bit of cheering up from someone who wasn't going to talk about anything really important today. A bright smile rested on Madison's lips as she snuck over to Mike and covered his eyes. There wasn't a doubt in her mind that he'd guess who is was, especially with a comment like that, but she figured she'd do it anyway. She bit her lip in anticipation while she waited for him to guess and smiled brightly when he finally did and took her hands off of his face. She laughed for a second as he hugged her and taking off her rather large sun hat. Hey Mikey! She said in a fairly happy and amused tone, she had no clue why she was so happy today, she hadn't even had any candy that day and well it was a bit weird for her to be this happy.
Madison ran her fingers through her hair for a moment and looked around at the candy in front of the two of them Making a face at the blood favored lollipops and shook her head. Blood flavored anything was just gross in her own opinion and blood made her a bit squeamish and uneasy. Madison looked back at mike and turned him around moving them over a bit so they weren't right by the lollipops. There was just some aspect of wizard candy that was just gross, at times, but there was nothing she could or would do about it. She grinned at Mike and tried to read him for a moment, she'd seen something he'd done well not necessarily him, but that someone else had done, which bugged her just a bit, but she wasn't going to addressed him about it right away, although it really wasn't her... as a best friend yes it was her business as Ryan's sister It wasn't, but well... she couldn't help being a bit curious.
I didn't expect to find you here today of all days, it's too nice of a day to be running places and stocking up on candy. She told him the smile never leaving her face. She and Mike had been friends for a long time, since their first year and she truly did love him like a brother, plus the fact that they were both excellent at potions and divination only made them better friends. They understood each other so it worked out in a good way. She ran a hand through her dark hair messing it up a bit more than she was sure it was from the hat and gave him a smile.
