-----Overall personality: Nathaniel is the kind of guy who stands out, obviously. He's considers himself as the oddball Slytherin. Sure, he's cunning but that's about it. He's brave and the comical kind of guy. Nathaniel's outgoing and talkative. He'll chatter on for hours if you don't stop him. Of course, he isn't the most talkative guy around (*coughGabeParkercough*).

Unlike most stereotyped Slytherins, Nathaniel doesn't tease and hate on others. He finds friends in mostly everyone that he can talk to. Quite a flirt, Trevor likes to make out. But he isn't exactly a manwhore. He's not evil like that.

-----history: Nathaniel Matthews was born to Daniel and Tamika Matthews. He was the oldest, his older adopted brother being Gabriel Parker. Right off the bat, his father told Nathaniel and his brother about magic and everything magical.

As he grew up knowing about magic, Nathaniel, or Trevor as he called himself, differed his personality from the people his dad called "family friends" which turned out to be a bunch of old Slytherins. Trevor would break rules his dad set up in the house. He didn't know why but he just wanted to rebel. That trait carried on when Trevor was enrolled into Hogwarts. He was put into Slytherin. He didn't want to be but given the fact that both of his parents were Slytherins, he was regardless of his own opinions. Over the years, Trevor found himself hanging out with Gryffindors more and more, especially his brother, Gabe. He distanced himself from the more "evil" Slytherins but still were friends with the nicer Slytheirns...which weren't that many of. Now in 7th Year, Trevor finds himself "the Oddball Slytherin" because of his unusual non-Slytherin-like personality.

It was only earlier this year that Trevor had found himself in trouble. He was bitten by a vampire. That was when Trevor was sure he would lose his insanity. But luckily, his brother helped him deal with being 'different' as Trevor kept calling it. It was quite hilarious really. Being 'different' in a school full of 'different' people.

Trevor ran a hand through his brown hair as he lay in bed. Today he was feeling lazy which was unusual for him. "Eh, I'll just read." he muttered to himself. Grabbing a book from under his bed, Trevor started doing what he did best, being one good bookworm.

A clank! sound was heard outside of Trevor's window. "What the hell?" Trevor opened his window with difficulty and peeked out. it was just some younger kids throwing rocks at the window for fun. "Hey, you guys! Stop it!" He frowned at them. There was nothing else he could do anyway other than chase after them. A rock whizzed past his head, narrowly missing his ear. That was it. "I'm gonna get you!!"

Launching his legs over the window frame, Trevor jumped out of the open window, landing in a roll. Luckily, Trent had only gotten his ankle slightly scratched. Sprinting after the little immature teens, Trevor grinned at himself. Maybe this wasn't such a bad day after all. Besides, he needed some exercise.
