-----Overall personality:
Ostara is a very spoilt little rich girl, the leader of the twins and a complete princess. She loves to receive gifts from her father and spends most of her time with him, although she is rather scared of him and never dares do anything to disappoint him. Although she would never admit it, Ostara is jealous of the relationship between Asoda and their mom, but she doesn't have the confidence or strength to tell her. She is envious of the carefree lives of many students at Hogwarts, but she doesn't try to act like something she is not. Ostara knows who she is, and she would never hide that fact. Sometimes her identity is all she has, so she is understandably frustrated when she is confused with Asoda.
Ostara doesn't like lying, but she knows when it is necessary and will do so whenever lies are needed in a situation. She is protective of Asoda and doesn't like to be away from the other girl for long periods of time, but she recognises the need for them to grow apart. Star isn't very good when it comes to understanding people, and the very idea of being kind to a stranger doesn't occur to her. She avoids teachers as much as she can, irritated when she ends up being called on in class as she doesn't like to show up her sister.

-----history: Ostara was born the eldest twin and first daughter of Mika and Laura Hatherton. Her twin Asoda was not born for another thirteen hours, making her born on a different day, so they generally celebrate their birthdays individually. Ostara was a daddy's girl right from the start, closer to him and her older brother Mika than her sister and mother. Asoda was smaller than her sister and more fragile, so she was always the favourite to be spoiled by their mom while Star was forced to take the backseat and rely on Mika for support.
Ostara was raised like a lot of pureblood girls, with manners and arrogance as her main guiding features, although she is far more reserved and doesn't have the 'gutter-mind' of many children her age because of her strict upbringing in Cairo. The family contemplated moving to England when the twins received their Hogwarts' letters, but decided against it. From the age of eleven, every September has consisted of Asoda and Ostara climbing on a train to London for a few hours before transferring to the Hogwarts Express. It was during one of these journeys that Ostara learned of her ability as a seer, after predicting the outcome of several different games played by complete strangers. She generally hid her 'gift', hating the fact she occasionally was caught unaware and ended up knowing something she shouldn't. It was from her mother's side that she received this 'gift', the last seven generations of the family's eldest daughters all being seers.
Ostara was unsurprised to be made a Slytherin. She was cunning and wise, but her bloodlines are what settled her position in Slytherin. What really came as a shock was Asoda being made a Hufflepuff, but Star knew that her twin was never going to be a Slytherin. Asoda was a softly spoken, shy girl. She wasn't very bright and had to work hard to keep up with her sister, so her position in Hufflepuff had been suspected by the twins. Now that she is in her fifth year, Star is looking for friends and love to keep her strong.
OUT OF CHARACTER!
-----sampleroleplay: Taken from Dancing through time. If you would prefer one made as this character, please say.
Lydia walked up to the castle, staring around her in wonder. For a long time she had never left her home, her mother fearing the change in environment would spark the cancer to worsen. Whatever logic was behind that had evaded Lydia, but she understood her mother had her best interests in mind. Now though, she was free. Lydia was still devastated by the death of her mom, she had loved the woman dearly, and her aunt simply had no idea how to care for an eleven year old girl. When Lydia had been told she couldn't go to a school because of her condition, she had been appalled, and she was taking matters into her own hands. As far as her aunt was concerned, Lydia would be spending the next year at a dance school for the terminally ill, and she had promised not to come by as it was too far to travel to. In reality Lydia had been planning to come see her father and plead with him to let her come to Hogwarts.
Within the walls of the castle, Lydia's breath was taken away by the beauty of the school. She had dreamed about Hogwarts for so many years, but not even her wildest fantasies had prepared her for this. Everything looked old and worn, but cosy and safe. She felt protected in this place, something she had not felt in a long time. Walking up the stairs, she counted the doors and floors to try and work out where she should be headed. Her father had told her about the layout of Hogwarts over and over again in an attempt to pacify the distraught child, never dreaming she would use this information to come find him. The corridor span and Lydia only just caught herself from falling, dizzy and tired from the trip to the school that had taken over a fortnight to complete from London courtesy of several side trips to St.Mungos and various other locations on the way up.
Stopping beside the passage she had been searching for, Lydia frowned as she tried to think of a password that might match all three headmasters. A smile flickered over her pale face as she remembered her father letting this slip in one of his letters. "Flying saucers" she breathed, pleased with herself for recalling this. Apparently it was a muggle sweet that all three heads were particularly fond of, but Jaden in particular had a soft spot for the bittersweet candy. Blinking in alarm as the passage opened, Lydia groaned at the sight of yet more stairs. Had they not heard of elevators?
Clambering up the stone steps, pausing frequently to regain her breath, Lydia stopped outside an oak door. Looking back down she saw the passage had closed up behind her, and she wasn't sure if this was comforting or not. Knowing it was too late for her to turn back, despite her cold feet, Lydia knocked on the wood panelling with trembling fingers. Oh how she despised the way she trembled when she was weak or frightened, but it came with the territory and she knew her half-sister Gemima suffered from the same problem. A Jaden trait, they had decided in the letters the girls had frequently exchanged over the years.

This accident-prone character is played by Tallie. 5 years have passed since I began this adventure. However, I have been living for fifteen years and have been known as that whacky type of girl. Enough about me, I also play as no one else. Never steal my world away from me or I will be forced to get Remus Lupin to jinx you!
