------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Once upon a time, there was a little girl This girl believed herself to be Queen Little did she know, she was simply the next meal------------------------------------------------------ ,' she thought to herself on the subject of insulting people. It was a bit depressing for Katya, but insulting people was what she wanted to do most right about now. Sadly, there was no one around to actually insult, which didn't make her day any better. Feeling a bit warm, Katya rose her right hand and undid several buttons on her shirt and freed her shirt from the entrapment of her skirt. Yes, her black robes were open, her tie undone and simply resting on either side of her chest. Truly uncaring for how one should be wearing the uniform and robes as she trotted through, her black shoes clapping against the floor below. The claps of her feet echoing through the empty corridor like drops of water in a cavern. A heavy sigh soon found Katya's lips as she stopped dead in her tracks, " By Merlin's pantyhose," she grumbled before she simply rolled her sapphire orbs and removed her bag from her shoulder, " just frak it." Katya had simply given up on trying to find someone interesting to insult, someone that would make it worth her while and actually try to insult her back. Instead, she tossed her bag towards the wall of the corridor and bounced over to it, her shoes clapping loudly as she hopped. Sliding to another stop, Katya sat down promptly, her legs crossing within themselves as she sat Indian style upon the floor and pried the flap of her messenger bag open. Reaching in, she snatched up her notebook and a pen. Certainly not for wizard use, but Katya did think herself a muggle from time to time. Prying the notebook open, Katya began to simply write some little poems. It was a simple pass time for Katya and since she had nothing better to do, she figured this would help refine her quick wit and help her with the up coming insults, assuming she got the chance at least.[/ul] ------------------------------------------------------ ;; 629 tag;; Reserved for Artemis. <3 note(s);; -flails- My brain hurts... [[NOT ALL WHO WANDER ARE LOST]]Artemis’ high-heeled (completely against dress code), boots clicked loudly as they hit the stone of the 6th floor hallway. Any other day, she might have been concerned about the noise, but as it were, today was not that kind of day. Having strode out of Transfiguration class, without warning or reason, she figured she was already in enough trouble, and a dress code violation was not going to hurt her too badly. That class had always irked her for some reason. Perhaps it was the fact that she found it boring, perhaps it was the annoying way the teacher taught, she was unsure. She just knew, that she far preferred her father as a teacher, more than anyone at this abysmal school. He had taught her more than most of the other students could even fathom, or would even want to. Learning how to turn a teapot into a watch, did not seem particularly useful to her, and so she had gathered her things, and left, rolling her eyes as the class stared. The teacher had yelled, sure, house points had been taken, and she was betting there was a detention slip waiting for her, but she did not care. She didn’t even care when he attempted to chase after her. She merely laughed, knowing that even in stilettos she could out run him, and she had. It felt good to run, something Artemis was not used to. She was so taken by the feeling, that she didn’t even notice when the professor had stopped chasing her. She ran through the hall ways not knowing where she was headed, or even where she had come from. Rounding a corner, she sadly enough did not see the unfortunate Slytherin girl with enough time to stop her sprint. Digging her heels into the ground, she attempted to slow down, or at least avoid the girl, but was unsuccessful. Artemis fell right over on top of the petite blonde perched on the floor, crashing to the ground with a thud, both girls’ books flying everywhere. She sat on the floor for barely a second before she was on her feet, staring at the girl whom she had collided with. Artemis vaguely noticed the girl’s Slytherin robes, but that fact paled in comparison to the notion that her once great mood had literally gone crashing down because of this girl. Without bothering to think, Artemis lashed out at the blonde. “What the bloody hell are you doing on the floor?! There are classrooms, and libraries to sit in. Floors are for MOVEMENT!!”
Glaring, Artemis bent down to pick up her now scattered book bag. As she crouched, her eyes, as per usual scanned the girl, and were surprised at what they saw; the first few buttons of the girls’ blouse were undone, showing far too much cleavage than was allowed. Artemis’ eyes lingered for the briefest of moments before straightening herself to meet the blonde’s gaze.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Once upon a time, there was a little girl This girl believed herself to be Queen Little did she know, she was simply the next meal------------------------------------------------------ " It took Katya several moments to realize who she was talking to as she noticed the heels the girl was wearing. Eyes slowly going up the form from there and taking in the delicate curves the girl had upon her body. Katya was taller than the older Slytherin girl, but only by a couple inches at best, so they were practically eye to eye. And as Katya did look the Slytherin girl in the eye, she perked a brow slowly. " And ya know what, you probably woulda been able to stop if ya didn't wear those awful heels, Arty," she quickly snapped, Katya's wand dropping as she put back into her robes. Katya could barely believe that she didn't notice the girl right away, but than again, Katya was hoping for a fight ever since she woke up this morning. " So, did you get a good look or do you want to look at 'em again?" she queried the older Slytherin, having certainly noticed where Artemis's eyes were a moment ago. Though after sharing those words, Katya knelt down and snatched up her notebook and than walked down the hall a bit, snatching up her run away pen from the floor. Turning on her heels, she walked back towards Arty and where her bags were, stuffing the pen behind her left ear. " Why were you in such a hurry anyways?" Katya asked yet another question, her curious nature showing through quite clearly. Most people who knew Kat knew she liked asking her questions since she did like knowing things, even if it ain't her business. Actually, especially if it ain't any of her business![/ul] ------------------------------------------------------ ;; I can't count. =O tag;; Artemis note(s);; -flails- My brain hurts... [[NOT ALL WHO WANDER ARE LOST]] Artemis reacted almost instantaneously when she saw the girl reach for her wand. Within barely a second, Artemis’ wand was at the girl’s throat. Yes, it was probably an extreme over reaction, but she grew up with a paranoid death eater father, some fates you just can’t escape. As the girl spoke, Artemis recognized the voice immediately, but out of habit did not lower her wand. She would, once the other girl did.
"And you should watch where the frak you are going!"
Artemis waited a moment for Katya to realize exactly who she was talking to. She rolled her eyes slightly, putting away her wand once Katya came to her realization. Katya was a year younger, and a few inches taller than Artemis, but the height difference was something she was used to. Even in heels, Artemis was a short little thing. Hands on her hips, Artemis watched as the girl appraised her, waiting until she was finished to speak.
“You my dear, really do seem to have a death wish with that mouth of yours. Going to get you into a lot of trouble one day…”
Artemis laughed, and met Katya’s eyes, smiling.
"And ya know what, you probably woulda been able to stop if ya didn't wear those awful heels, Arty,"
“I probably would have, but where would the fun be in that?! And anyways, I’m damn short! I have a reputation to uphold, and being a friggin midget is not going help with that”
Again Artemis laughed, the sound echoing off the stone hallways as she looked around her briefly. The professor seemed to have stopped following her, for the time being at least. She knew that situation was not going to end well, but whatever. She chose to ignore the comment about checking the girl out. Katya knew where Artemis stood there was no secret it that…
"Why were you in such a hurry anyways?"
A mischievously sheepish grin spread over Artemis’ delicate features. Her eyes glinted impishly as she answered Katya’s question.
“….I may have walked out of Transfiguration, cost the house some serious points, and have detention for the rest of the year. I may also have been running from the idiot professor who attempted to chase after me. That scenario is entirely possible right about now.”
Artemis smirked, as she tried and failed to portray an innocent persona. Innocence was not her thing by any stretch of the imagination. And the way she looked at it, the damn professor deserved it….

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Once upon a time, there was a little girl This girl believed herself to be Queen Little did she know, she was simply the next meal------------------------------------------------------ ' the anger seemed to chant within Katya's head, forcing her to roll her neck, cracks crunching through the air as she did so. Her eyes closed for a moment as she forced a small laugh at Arty's words. ' Death is nothing more than a release,' she thought to herself, thinking she should actually say it, but as her eyes opened, she couldn't really force the words out. " Worse things than death," was all that came out as Katya stuffed her hands into her robe pockets. She was beginning to wish she had some music with her, some Eminem ringing through her brain may do her some good. Those god awful rhymes beating through Katya's head always seemed to calm her down, even if some people thought his songs were offensive. In all honesty, Katya enjoyed those lyrics, those insults tossed with finesse. Her blue eyes seemed to glaze over at Katya began to day dream a bit about Eminem. There was no doubt he wasn't the best looking guy, but he was still interesting in Katya's head, which was enough to give him those missing points. Least she always thought so. When Arty spoke about her heels, Katya shook her head, removing herself from the little day dream she was experiencing as she stared at her friend. " Oh please. Being short ain't that bad. After all, the shorter you are, the closer you are to," Katya let her words trail off as she simply gave her deviant little grin. The same one she always seemed to give when she talked about sex. Normally she'd even finish the line, but today, she left it up to Arty's imagination, not like there were many options in it all anyways. " Yeah, this is why I just skip class. Far easier than going. If they ask later, I'll just say I was off masturbating to their picture. Normally shuts them up right quick," Katya retorted to Arty's mention of the Transfiguration teacher and all of Arty's little drama she had moments ago. With Arty trying to portray innocence, Katya couldn't help but crack up laughing at that. Her head shaking as her left hand rose up from her pocket to cover her laughter. Taking a deep breath, followed by a heavy, yet content, sigh, Katya shook her head a bit more as her sapphire eyes rested upon Arty, " Really? Perhaps I should stay away from you. You may just ruin MY perfect little innocent look I have going today," she stated sarcastically, with a playful tone lingering in her words, " And, let me guess, next you're gonna say you have a dead body you want me to help you bury, hm?" she teased, " I swear Arty, you make life here far more interesting at times." It was true, Arty was a bit of a trouble maker, though as for secrets, Katya wasn't sure how many Arty actually had. 'Course, that was the entire point of befriending the girl, finding those hidden secrets, though Katya did enjoy Arty's presence never-the-less.[/ul] ------------------------------------------------------ ;; Let's see...one...two...what's after two? tag;; Artemis. <3 note(s);; My brain hurts...again. xD [/ul] made by hanseh!
